Comments about Flowerhouse FarmHouse Greenhouse:
I just bought my second Farmhouse greenhouse, because I am so pleased with the first one. I use the Farmhouse to harden-off and grow-out seedlings after starting them on indoor light shelves. It works very well--lets in plenty of light and gives great ventilation through the large doors and many windows. I love that all openings are screened. I protect against light-frosty nights with a propane tent heater. All my plants thrived in the greenhouse. To make it last as long as possible, I take it down in mid-May and store it in the barn until I need it the next spring. I found I needed to enlist a helper for initial set-up, but I took it down and stored it by myself. [...] Thanks for a great product.

Comments about Flowerhouse FarmHouse Greenhouse:
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product, especially after reading some of the negative reviews here. For the reviewer who wrote that he could push his finger through the screening material, don't believe it. Not true at all. This is a well-built portable greenhouse that I can set up in March, and with the help of some small ceramic space heaters, it makes a great place to grow my 100+ tomato seedlings so they are good sized plants by May. I was able to put it up alone in about 20 minutes. I would not consider this a permanent greenhouse as our snowfall in Denver would likely cause a collapse. A big improvement over the Gronhaus Domhaus, my previous portable greenhouse.

I really liked it at first and our neighbor commented on it as well. we live in a upper middle income neighborhood and it actually enhanced, not took away from, our property; -but we had an unexpected for this area, 2 inch snow fall and the next morning to our dismay my husband found the roof had succumbed in the middle and unless there are replacable parts,(which we have not heard about) it is ruined. We have only had it since November "09", 3 mos.

Comments about Flowerhouse FarmHouse Greenhouse:
The screens rotted and became extremely fragile (e.g. you touch them and your finger will go right through). Material (nylon strap?) that was used to attach the D-rings to greenhouse also rotted and the most of the D-rings have come off so there is no way to tie down the greenhouse or secure the door/window flaps. I have owned tents (for years) that have the same features and never have had these kind of failures. [...]

Comments about Flowerhouse FarmHouse Greenhouse:
This greenhouse is light weight and took less than an hour for my husband and son-in-law to put up. We have started seeds, but too soon to tell how easy it is to regulate temperatures. We purchased this greenhouse because of others comments. We are happy so far.

Comments about Flowerhouse FarmHouse Greenhouse:
Although the instructions could be better, it was relatively easy to put up. Growing tomatoes in the Pacific Northwest is a challange, but they are off to a good start in the greenhouse, while the weather is still quite cool and wet.
It will take a few more months to tell if this is worth the money, but as of now it looks good.

Comments about Flowerhouse FarmHouse Greenhouse:
Easy to put up, especially with two people. Perfectly constructed, all parts fit and were in the box. We did spray all the zippers with silicone and found that the stakes were impossible in our rocky soil. We used "sand stakes" from [...] and now have the sturdiest, greenhouse around. A couple of sawhorses, a fan, a heater and a hose and we are a going concern. Reasonably priced and perfect for our needs.

Comments about Flowerhouse FarmHouse Greenhouse:
Very nice, sturdy greenhouse. Does not set up in "minutes" as the box says. With two not-very-handy people working, it took about an hour to set up but wasn't really difficult. You do need a step stool or ladder to put the top frame on if you are short-medium height, and some of the poles are a very tight fit. It seems very sturdy and so far works perfectly. I have tomato seedlings in it covered with plastic, a full month before they would be able to go outside with no covering, in addition to lots of other vegetables. If you plant in the ground on one side, and use hangers and shelves, you can get a lot of plants in this small greenhouse. I will be using it all winter, attempting to grow greens year-round in New England without any heat source, as Eliot Coleman does in Maine. I will definitely be buying a second one to extend my year-round garden and hopefully it will hold up during our long, cold winters.

No explaination about netting or any specifics about 10 tie down strings...should be hooks or tighteners instead of knots.

Comments about Flowerhouse FarmHouse Greenhouse:
We just put the Flowerhouse up a few weeks ago and so far it's working great! We had started all of our seeds indoors and moved them out the the Flowerhouse when in got warm enough. We had to take them in on one night that went down to freezing but otherwise we've kept them all in there and they are growing wonderfully! We've already had a neighbor stop and ask where they could get one. [...]
